Ron Reagan: "Bush and his cronies are just plain corrupt."

The Bush inner circle would like to think of George W.'s presidency as more of an extension of Ronald Reagan's than of his one-term father's. Reagan himself, who has long suffered from Alzheimer's disease, is unable to comment on those who lay claim to his political legacy. But his son, Ron, is -- and he's not pleased with the association.

"The Bush people have no right to speak for my father, particularly because of the position he's in now," he said during a recent interview with Salon. "Yes, some of the current policies are an extension of the '80s. But the overall thrust of this administration is not my father's -- these people are overly reaching, overly aggressive, overly secretive, and just plain corrupt. I don't trust these people."

Ron Reagan is a bozo. He couldn't even show up for the dedication of an aircraft carrier in his father's name. What an assh_le. Yet he lets the Democrats use his last name to promote his agenda.

Don't forget this the son that vote against father twice.
He didn't go to his father dedication of the aircraftcarrier because it is a "weapon of mass destruction."

"...these people are overly reaching, overly aggressive, overly secretive, and just plain corrupt. I don't trust these people."

My thoughts about the Bush admin are just about like that....might improve a little bit with Kerry, but only perceptable....I still look at politicians as a whole as invariably corrupt...maybe I'm just jaded....

Look at the Patriot Act and all the tinkering that Bush wants to do with the constitution....the big fuss over who's getting married and trying to change the constitution over it....This Cheney/Halliburton scandal and the no-bid contract and the proposal to hold back money from Halliburton unless it corrects its policies and quits gouging the public....what the hell policy is this, of holding back money unless the company changes its ways? Other companies trying this would be fined and dismissed from employment if there was any justice meted out.

This wouldn't be much different than finding a bank employee embezzling money and telling that person to slow down or we'll delay your paycheck. Like this isn't a crime either????

"just plain corrupt"....that would appear to be an understatement.
